Exigen Services Launches Agile Readiness Assessment Package for Enterprise Customers
Exigen Services, the leader in Outsourcing 2.0 and a pioneer in Agile application development, today announced the rollout of the Exigen Agile Assessment Package, aimed at making application development and maintenance (ADM) outsourcing easier and more effective for enterprises. The package has been created from best practices collected over the course of 100-plus distributed Agile and hybrid waterfall / Agile projects.
The Exigen Agile Assessment Package is the first deliverable from the company’s Agile practice. It consists of a series of documents and interviews conducted by Exigen’s experts. Included in the documentation are best practice project and team structure templates, pre-defined metrics worksheets and reporting frameworks, and an adoption scorecard. Customers will be able to determine cultural and team readiness for an Agile-based project, establish project management structure and setup a realistic progress tracking program.
"We engaged with Exigen Services because they gave us exceptional feedback on our application development project. Exigen team members took the time to understand our company, what we were trying to accomplish from a business standpoint and then worked with us to find the most efficient way to achieve our goal," said Talin Bingham, chief technology officer, SirsiDynix. "Choosing the Scrum Agile technique allowed our team to work with Exigen closely and progress the project at a record velocity."
"We believe our Agile Assessment Package is a key first step in helping enterprise customers develop and transform their systems," said David Webb, agile practice lead and engagement manager, Exigen Services. "By providing an expertly packaged combination of the right methodology with our technical and functional expertise, and the offshore outsourcing business model, we create a true alignment that Outsourcing 1.0 providers simply can’t."
Moving beyond labor cost reduction, or Outsourcing 1.0, Exigen Services will be releasing a series of dedicated practice business groups and subsequent packages, such as the Agile Assessment Package, to better provide the insight, collaboration and partnership expected of true Outsourcing 2.0 partners. The company sees Outsourcing 2.0 as the evolution of global outsourcing by providing a highly collaborative relationship where the partner proactively offers new and innovative solutions to complex problems.
